Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
College Student enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. college or university for the 2025–2026 academic year.
GPA – (for consideration purposes only; not a disqualifier)
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Open to students with a parent who is incarcerated.
Submit a 500 word essay on one of the following topics:
“Freedom means…”
“How I will use my education to serve my community”
“Overcoming adversity: My story”
